Hey everyone! I’m Jose Antonio Moyano Aguilar, and I want to take you on a journey through my exciting path in photography and event planning in Mexico.
An Unusual Start
Hailing from Puebla, my professional story began in an unexpected place for a photographer and event planner: the tourism industry. Studying International Tourism at Anáhuac University, first in Puebla and later in Cancun, little did I know this path would lead me to discover my true passions.
During my internships, I dove into the world of hospitality—hotels, restaurants, bars, and even Cancun International Airport. Collaborating with immigration and customs gave me a comprehensive view of the tourism industry from various angles.
Encountering the Yucatán Peninsula
My true journey began when I entered the world of receptive travel agencies and DMCs. Here, I became a planner and operational staff for groups and conventions. During this time, I had the privilege of exploring the marvelous Yucatán Peninsula and its treasures. From ancient pyramids to thrilling theme parks, I immersed myself in the culture and beauty of the region.
But something changed my life completely: photography. Working with clients to exceed their expectations, I discovered my passion for capturing those special moments in images. The smiles and compliments I received for my photos inspired me to become a professional photographer.
Sharing Mexico with the World
As my love for photography grew, so did my desire to showcase Mexico’s richness to tourists. I wanted to capture not only stunning landscapes but also convey our traditions, gastronomy, dances, and typical customs.
We even organized tequila and mezcal tastings for visitors to understand the differences and choose flavors they enjoyed.
A New Chapter: Social Events
Today, my career has taken an exciting turn. I am a partner at VN Events, an event production company specializing in decoration and planning social events. We help families create special memories, from baptisms to weddings and anniversaries.
What excites me the most is that I can combine all my skills to offer clients a complete experience. From their arrival at the airport to documenting their happiest moments in Mexico, we’re here to make their stay unique and unforgettable.
